Bubbles and Water Drops

Close ups of a 2 inch bubble. Taken with a homemade (3 re-building attempts to get it so there were no reflections and more than a week) soft lightbox. Bubbles have a life staring through the lens you can watch them go from clear to the colors dripping and swirling down to a glorious burst of colors. To the final moments when the top becomes skeletal.

The drops are a matter of timing. These were taken by myself and a remote shutter. The trick is to capture that split second (1/2500 of a second) when the drop hits the water. Hint a off camera flash does help.
